Now lets take a look at the east coast for inspiration. My little brother lives in NYC and is a rock obsessive, being more of a "Quadraphenia" style rocker as much as I've always been a mod. We fight over the legitimate claims of pop music and the sometimes clash on bands like The Killers etc. But I have to agree with him today because for this band I know I can count on his blessing.
The Parlor Mob hails from New Jersey and at their most wonderful indie pop sound like a great White Stripes descendent. But at their darkest they become something very wonderful indeed... bringing equal parts sombre Led Zeppelin guitar rock and modern sensibility to this very fresh take on old school rock n roll.
